Hi, I’m Kalee — founder and artist behind Skin Sense Studio.

I’m a Licensed Practical Nurse with several years of experience working in dermatology, and caring for skin has always been more than a career to me — it’s a passion. During my time in dermatology, I worked closely with patients undergoing treatment for skin cancer and assisted in skin cancer surgeries. Seeing firsthand the physical and emotional impact that skin conditions, scarring, and sun damage can have on someone truly shaped the direction of my career.

That experience is exactly why providing a safe tanning solution through professional spray tanning is so important to me. After witnessing the long-term effects of UV exposure, I became deeply committed to helping clients achieve a beautiful glow without compromising their skin’s health.

Working alongside patients during surgical procedures also introduced me to the powerful emotional side of skin healing. Scars tell stories — but not everyone wants to relive theirs every time they look in the mirror. That’s what drew me to paramedical tattooing and scar camouflage. The ability to restore confidence, soften insecurities, and help someone feel at home in their skin again is something I do not take lightly.
